Mr. Wayne Stelmack, Eighth Grade Science teacher, has been eager to reward his students for their hard work at school. Earlier this semester he rewarded students that made 80% or higher on one of his tests with a meal from Chick-Fil-A. With the recent end of the third nine weeks, Mr. Stelmack had another idea for showing that hard work has its benefits. On Friday, March 22nd, during 7th period, eighth grade student that had passed all five of their academic classes during the third nine weeks were treated to a free period in the gym and were able to enjoy hot dogs and homemade chili. The students could enjoy the food and a break from class; some played basketball while others had a great time just talking with their friends. At the end of the period Mr. Stelmack reminded the students that he is eager to reward students that strive for good grades and work hard at their education. Thanks to Mr. Stelmack and the other teachers for their help in rewarding the students for their work.
